Alkmaar’s famous cheese market can only be experienced live from April to October on Fridays between 10 am and 1 pm in front of our museum. However, inside our museum the cheese market can be seen seven days a week, all year round.
This can be done using the museum’s newest addition: the cheese market viewer. You can experience and experience the cheese market activities ‘live’ via augmented reality technology.
